A nine-month practical and theoretical journey through oil massage.\u00a0Taught since 2002 by Sevanti, Unity Founder and Managing Director with\u00a0small groups (of maximum 12). Students will explore a range of techniques from various bodywork modalities, Thai, Acupressure Massage styles, Pulsing and Sacred energy work, and Crystal Healing with a focus on Holistic Oil Massage. Yoga, natural movement, ritual and ceremonial techniques, and meditation will be included.<\/p>\n
The well-being and self-development of the students as Practitioners are prioritised. This is an opportunity to dive deep into one’s self-awareness and meditative practice\u00a0to support becoming an exceptional Holistic Massage Practitioner. The Venue<\/h2>\n
The Unity Holistic Massage Diploma (MTI) will be held at The Unity Centre in Lewes. This new centre is housed at the old Turkish Baths in Lewes. The centre is fully equipped with yoga mats, bolsters, backjacks, blocks, belts, eye pillows and blankets. There is also treatment rooms, an Infra Red sauna, floatation tank and two beautiful rooms to teach diplomas and yoga classes, plus a range of different therapies. Ali is a Massage Training Institute (MTI) registered complementary health practitioner and originally trained on the Holistic Massage Diploma at Unity. Ali's work combines a holistic approach with Swedish, Thai, acupressure and deep tissue massage techniques along with the use of Reiki energy (either together or independently). This way of working not only provides support to the body during the healing of specific issues (stress, tension, discomfort, aches and pains) but also helps balance and revive the spirit and promotes an over all sense of relaxation and wellbeing. Ali is also a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council \u2013 the national voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners in the UK. She is also a volunteer therapist with Active Lightworks a Brighton & Hove based complementary therapy charity. Currently I am one of a team of therapists that gives Reiki treatments to children at the Royal Alexandra Children\u2019s hospital in Brighton.
