Sauna benefits
Sauna sweating has been proven to help you relax and detoxify your body. It will leave your skin glowing and clean as the increased circulation draw’s your skin’s natural nutrients to the surface. The infrared radiant heat of a Clearlight® infrared sauna warms three times as deep as conventional saunas. Infrafred heat can help to relieve inflammation, stiffness and soreness by increasing blood circulation to relax your muscles.
It is also effective more specifically in the treatment of sprains, neuralgia, bursitis, muscle spasms, and many other muscular-skeletal ailments.
Regular use of a sauna imparts a similar boost on the cardiovascular system to running*. As you relax in the gentle infrared heat, your body is hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood and burning calories. A 30-minute session can burn somewhere between 250 calories or more.
Infrared sauna therapy can help keep blood pressure normal, lower cholesterol levels and reduce chronic pain.**
Our sauna includes chromatherapy, the science of using wavelengths of colour light to affect your body and mind for improved health and happiness. There are 15 LED lights in an array of 6 colours, green, red, yellow, turquoise and violet. Each different colour can have a positive effect on your mind and body. It can help you relax, so your body can heal and rejuvenate.

Summer Glow
A perfect summer relaxation and detox, with sauna, scrub and massage (allow 2½ to 3 hours).
This unique summery experience starts with a wonderfully cleansing, relaxing and detoxifying sauna session followed by a salt scrub to complete your skin’s exfoliation, leaving you tingling with freshness as you lie down for a supremely relaxing, full 90 minute remedial massage (or, when available, massage and energy work). Then to complete the experience and slowly ease you back to earth, take it easy in the Unity lounge with strawberries and sorbet and a cool Elderflower drink (or hot mint tea if you prefer).
